Recently renovated design apartment listed as Turismo de Interior located in an emblematic building in the center of Palma de Majorca, Balearic Islands, next to the Plaça de Santa Eulàlia. This is the old "Toy Museum" converted in 2019 into spectacular holiday apartments with all the luxury of details, in which elements of modern design merge with details of the classic Mallorcan architecture of much value and some pieces of the museum that in his day it was. It has a capacity for 2 people, a bedroom with a double bed. It has a small and beautiful patio inside where you can enjoy and relax in complete harmony. This charming 50 m² duplex is ideal for discovering one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in the city, the Santa Catalina neighborhood in Palma de Mallorca. It has three levels, the first at street level has an American kitchen on the left, fully equipped. Right next to it they have a small but complete bathroom with shower and in front of the entrance there is a sofa with a plasma TV and a dining table for 4 people. To the right of the entrance begins the staircase (without railing) to go up to the first floor. There is the double bed with a wardrobe and above which you can go up to a floor with another single bed. Another smart TV is hung on the wall in front of both beds. It has internet access (wifi), air conditioning and heat pump heating. If you need it, there is a covered car park in a nearby building, it is subject to availability and costs €16/night. This small but fantastic duplex apartment is located in the heart of Palma, in the lively neighborhood of Santa Catalina. You will find all kinds of restaurants and at night all kinds of bars and pubs to celebrate and enjoy the Majorcan night. It is important to inform that despite being in the middle of the bustle, the apartment is located on a small street, very narrow and with no traffic. In the morning you can wander in the Santa Catalina market, a few steps from the apartment, visit a multitude of shops of all kinds, stroll along the Paseo Marítimo (or do sports activities) and/or relax in the Sa Feixina park. The property has plenty of storage for your clothes. The heating/air conditioner unit was easy to use, with separate remote controls for each floor. Also, wi-fi worked well. The rooftop is gorgeous, and a great place to sit with some wine and watch the ships sailing in the distance. The rooftop also has a clothesline in case you want to do some laundry. One minor issue– the bed was not quite firm enough for us, but others may find it ok.

It is true that you can hear the noises of bar-goers right outside of your bedroom in the middle of the night after they've gone out of the nearby bar, so if you are sensitive to these noises, the host has provided lots of earplugs. But really, just drink some wonderful wine and close all windows and doors before you go to bed, and you won't hear anything. The only things that will make this place over and beyond magnificent are a safety deposit box and heated toilet seats. Other than that... this is perfection.

Die Dachterrasse lädt zum privaten Sonnen ein. Der Ausblick auf den Hafen aus allen Räumen war ein Traum und die Umgebung mit den kleinen Gassen und der Windmühle ist wunderschön. Zu Fuß sind Cafés, Restaurants und Supermärkte in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, würde immer wieder dort einchecken. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit.

Die Lage des Hauses ist (eigentlich) unschlagbar und das absolute Highlight! Es liegt in erster Reihe zum Hafen im quasi in sich geschlossenen Viertel El Jonquet am Rand von Santa Catalina. Innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten Fußweg gibt es unzählige Restaurants, Bäcker, Supermärkte, den Markt, Friseure, Boutiquen, Bars und und und… Besser geht‘s nicht! Der Blick vom Balkon oder von der Dachterrasse auf den Hafen ist atemberaubend und wird nicht langweilig. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, es hat an nichts gefehlt, inklusive zweier Sonnenliegen auf dem Dach, die Mitte März bei kühlem Wind aber nicht zum Einsatz kamen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist eher modern und hat einen angenehmen Style. Es gehen viele Nachbarn mit ihren Hunden spazieren und man kommt, wenn man am Abend mit einem Glas Wein vor der Tür sitzt und den Hafen bestaunt, schnell in Gespräche mit wirklich sehr netten Menschen.
